Well, on the event and occasion of Friendship Day, I hardly wished any of my friends, not that such a little thing matters, but yeah, memories flew by. Again, This is a part of Of Peace, I Am #opiam Part 1 : Winter series and is dedicated to every soul that I considered, and was considered by, as a friend. Have fun. \/.

Watching the monotony of the falling winter rain,
standing in my room, through the windows, I see his face, I see her name.
It’s my day-off of work, staying home as I got delayed, I slept late at night,
before my dreams I was thinking of our conversations and thinking of the fights.

Time flies and it is not even you who’s left behind,
time flies and the thought strangles the innocent mind,
time flies and you remember the broken ends,
time flies and you miss those forgotten friends.

Went to the cinemas and sneaked in a quarter
and we climbed the hills at dawn and had a cigarette
they were adventures in all till we ran out of water
be it a giant laughing buddha or giving out a random threat.

Time flies and it is not even you who’s left behind
time flies and the thought strangles the innocent mind,
time flies and you remember the broken ends,
time flies and you miss those forgotten friends.

Spoke our hearts out riding the bus back home before day break
and heard a guy with an afro play the sitar
entered a hotel past midnight to eat some marmalade
and sat at places under the skies to spot the shooting star.

Time flies and it is not even you who’s left behind,
time flies and the thought strangles the innocent mind,
time flies and you remember the broken ends,
time flies and you miss those forgotten friends.
